The Breakwater Meaford B&B is a great and cozy place to stay when visiting Meaford. The room is modern, super clean and tidy, has all the necessary amenities, and the hospitality exceeds expectations. Most importantly, the location of this B&B is situated close to the downtown core of Meaford, it's just a quick walk to Georgian Bay, and it is close to many trails around town.

I highly recommend staying in this B&B if you are looking to escape the big city and wanting to visit the Georgian Bay area.

I stayed at the Breakwater B&B which is a beautiful home in the Meaford Heritage District directly across from the harbour and walking trails, and a short walk across the bridge to the shops and restaurants on main street. Kymm and Courtney are wonderful hosts who provided a warm and welcoming stay with so many added personal touches throughout my visit.

My room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, the bed was so comfy made up with beautiful linens, and all this with french doors leading to a patio and beautiful back yard garden. I can hardly wait until my stay again with them this fall. I give it a 5-star rating and highly recommend it for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!

We had a perfect getaway staying at The Breakwater. The hosts were very kind, had good attention to detail and gave us some great tips on activities in the area. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the breakfast was spot on. The house is fully renovated but has maintained the character and grandeur harkening back to the times when steamer ships frequented Georgian Bay ports.

Coming from Eastern Ontario, it was surprising to discover a new area with so much to do and see. We definitely plan to come back and explore the area further. No hesitation giving The Breakwater a strong recommendation!
